Some tips from the Hunted discord (with this server specific additions)
I'm chopping up a dino and I'm not getting hide/feathers/etc.
To harvest scale/quill hide you need to use the "radial menu."Once the option turns blue you can click it and you will harvest that resource. Sometimes you will harvest a resource and get 0. The amount of hide/feathers/keratin/etc you get is based on the dino's HP and your crafting skill, so killing a small dino and harvesting it while you have low crafting might result in less than 1 resource which rounds down to 0.
Where do I get Coir Fiber?
Coir Fiber is a new resource added in with The Hunted. It is a by-product of the new Cocodrupe plant (see Cocodrupe for details).
Where do I get Cocodrupes?
Cocodrupes are a new planted introduced by The Hunted. It is grown from a Cocodrupe Seed in a large crop plot. When fully grown the Cocodrupe plant produces Cocodrupes, Thatch and Coir Fiber. Monkies (Mesopithecus) will drop them sometimes(you do not have to kill them, they will drop similar to how poop drops). You can also harvest the seeds from some nests such as lystrosaurus, ichthyornis, parasaur, pegomastax, and turtle.
I've been chopping up this corpse for 30 minutes and it won't disappear.
Dino's in The Hunted give meat in comparable amounts to their size. So if you kill a bronto prepare to have to chop up thousands of meat from it for the corpse to disappear.(edited)
Harvesting resources takes way to long.
Invest points into your crafting skill. The higher your crafting % the more resources you will get and the less time it takes to harvest. The amount of time it takes to harvest something is based on your crafting skill and the HP of the dino. (Focal chili helps as well, very useful when harvesting Alpha corpses)

Early game healing is too hard.
What about it is too hard? If the main issue is health regeneration and or low health to begin with, that is by design.
Early game is slowed down with this mod and many of the early game items are actually useful as opposed to vanilla were many people just fly by the foundation of the game.
Tips: Effective berry use can help. Tino and Mejo berries can provide a little heal regeneration though the ARK mechanic only works if you are currently hungry. Fish has a natural healing multiplier buff and prime fish is even higher. This can augment your resting period to gain health though again this works only if you are hungry.
Maggot Bandages are going to be your go to for a long time until you can make narcotics. 2 Charcoal, 2 Hide, and 1 Spoiled meat. This will begin about 60 second of rapid health regeneration.
You can be healed of 25 health in 2 minutes with 2 bandages and a cooked fish. The Hunted is a challenge and is very different than Vanilla. The key is to forget about how the game used to be played and embrace the depth of play created by the mod. Good luck survivors.

How do I make kibble?
The cooking pot has all the recipes for the new types of kibble.
How do I make a certain saddle?
Create a Saddle Crafting Kit and it will have 6 tiers of saddles, different saddles require a different tier base saddle that then gets turned into the specific saddle you want.
Where do I get implants from?
You can find implants in Supply drops(each level supply drop corresponds to a different level implant) you can also find Fallen Survivors who will have implants in their inventory and finally some nests will contain implants that you can harvest from them.
I have implants in my Saddle Crafting Kit but I still can't make a saddle.
You have to activate each implant in order for it to be used to make a saddle. Each deactivated implant will list what types of DNA is required to activate it. Put the DNA and the deactivated implant into the Saddle Crafting Kit and it will automatically combine into an activated implant which can be used to craft saddles.
Eggs won't go inside the nest.
Eggs do not go into the inventory of a nest, you have to stand above the nest and drop the egg on top of the nest. It might take a few tries as you have to get it very close to the center for it to start incubating. This also means you can only incubate a couple eggs at a time. Tip: Don't forget to add the required resource into the inventory of the nest: Ember nest is spark powder, Clay nest is oil, Living nest is angler gel
Are Wyverns supported by the mod?
Currently no fantasy creatures are supported by the mod, so Griffons/Wyverns/Rock Golems/Snow Owls/DLC Creatures, etc, are all vanilla and are tamed through vanilla methods.
Can you beat the bosses with this mod?
Yes. Though it certainly takes more time as mutations are very important, it is possible to beat the bosses (players have beat up to beta level so far) starting from level 1-15 dinos.
